The CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus) was designed specifically to support future technology requirements on Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Development of this new tool was assisted by the advice and suggestions given to us by technicians attending numerous focus groups during the development phase. C-III plus represents a leap forward in vehicle diagnostic technology. The software incorporates large easy to operate buttons; and based on dealership technician input and competitor benchmarking, navigation has been enhanced to support complicated operations and to simplify access to maintenance related work support items. All of which make this diagnostic tool faster and easier to use. Refer to the Fall 2010 Tech Talk magazine for a C-III plus operational overview.

The C-III plus must be installed on your existing CONSULT-III Panasonic Laptop. CONSULT-III software will continue to operate even after installation of C-III plus. You can also purchase a full CONSULT kit that contains both C-III and C-III plus software and vehicle interfaces and the Nissan approved Panasonic Toughbook.

C-III plus is required for diagnosis of:
Nissan 2011 MY LEAF, Quest, Murano CrossCabriolet
2012 MY GT-R and NV
2012 MY Infiniti M and M Hybrid
All new model releases will require the use of C-III plus. None of these models or future models will be added to CONSULT-III.

The C-III plus is a critical diagnostic tool going forward. Later this year, the C-III plus software will be updated and have full capability to diagnose and reprogram 1996 and later model year vehicles. This update will allow C-III plus to fully perform the functions of C-II and C-III. Until then, you will need to use C-II, C-III and C-III plus in your servicing of Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Please ensure your C-II and C-III are in proper working order during the CONSULT-III plus coverage expansion period.
